With the MODEL 600 arc time is reduced by one half due to the rotating torches, each traveling 180 degrees plus adjustable overlap. Part distortion is greatly reduced or eliminated by starting the welds 180 degrees apart. Set up and tooling are simplified by rotating the torches rather than the work piece.
